I have really enjoyed making this card. I have used the sketch from Whiff-of-joy challenge blog. I have used lying Matthew guardian angel from Whiff of joy stamps.

I didn't have a flower to match so I coloured a cream one to match with Inks. The middle of the flower is a swarovski crystal. I have used ribbon with stars on to help make the background more interesting.

The sentiment is from Whiff of joy also. I bought the charms from ebay and have combined them to make 1 larger charm, I added blue glitter to the embossed heart.Stamps Whiff of joy

1: Malibu and diet coke (I'm not an alcholic) I just love the taste of it. If only there was an alchol free version. Then I could have more than a couple.

I have not been very active this week as I have been so busy but I have been trying to get this card finished since Sunday.
On high-hopes challenge blog they have a non traditional colours. Oh dear I did a boo boo. I thought it was a non traditional card!!!
I used the sketch on a-spoon-full-of-sugar by Trina. I hope you like it.I came up with what I thought was a great non traditional card but it wasn't meant to be christmassy colours and I have used my favourite colours. I'm such an idiot.
I'm going to share it with you anyway as I really like it. We have friends and family that hunt and they would love this card.

Spooky time

Well its that time of the year again. Where the ghouls and spooks roam the earth for one night only. We had a couple in our house hold and our land rover as ever had its decoration too.
The picture at the top is the pumpkin I carved for our land rover. I know what your thinking how does it stay on there. Its not rocket science there is an orange light under the pumpkin and that holds it while driving around.

The corpse bride is my youngest daughter Kayleigh and she won the school fancy dress party they had. She was so excited when she told me when she came home. Heather (my middle daughter) got dressed up to go to a local farm and we were hoping to pick pumpkins in the field but they had to pick and bring them in as the ground frosts had been bad and they would have lost them to the cold. We have alot of old people around where we live so the girls don't get to do trick or treating so it was fingers in buns for tea with blood relish (hotdogs in buns with ketchup) the Hanna Montana 3d movie, Sponge bob halloween dvd and a halloween goodie bag.

I have gone for some delicate pastel colours and flowers and I think it worked out ok in the end. Magnolia pink stamp. For each one purchased a donation is made to cancer research.

The challenge on Whiff-of-joy blog is colour. In particular you have to use Brgundy (Red) and Green. My favourite christmas colours. So you quessed it, I made christmas card.I have used Guardian angel blowing Kisses and changed them to snowflakes and called it Christmas Kisses.

On the high-hopes blog this week they have a sketch. I have added some bling for the Spoon-full-of-sugar blog. You should check out all the blogs on the challenges, as the designers have created some stunning works of art.

I have turned the sketch on its side, as it better suited the image that I used.

I have used a rose tint pearlescent card. Paper adventure papers. I have used my nestabilities to cut the ovals. Coloured the image with copic pens.

The friend on the embossed background I have picked out the friend detail with silver embossing powder.

The pebbles are the only bit I am abit disappointed about and have come to realise that I need to get some number stamps and then they would have looked better.
