Frosty nights

This week on magnolia challenge blog we have a sketch for you to do.
I have used Tilda and Edwin to make a christmas card. I have stamped Tilda and then masked her of so that I could stamp Edwin behind.
I think it makes a lovely card for a couple.
Paper cellar background paper.
Prima flowers.
Sentiment is of ebay and I stamped it twice. Once in gold and once in black to give it a shadowing effect.
Coloured with copic pens.

Your fin-tastic

On the Magnolia challanege blog the challenge is to use metal.I have used metal sheet to cover a piece of chipboard to make a frame. I have coloured the metal with Tim Holtz alcholic inks.
I have included 2 metal fish brads. They where painted all over and the colours where abit over powering, I sanded them so that the detail is picked out with the colour only.
The background and sentiment is by High hope stamps.
The pink shell stamps are by Magnolia.
The kids under water are mine lol. Taken at Florida last year swimming in the pool. That was the last family holiday together as my eldest has left home now.

You did it!

The challenge on Tilda-and-co is embossed. It can be any kind of embossing. I have opted to use a ebossing folder to make a quick and easy background.
I have used Edwin holding the glasses as he is celebrating, what I hear you say, well just about anything, could be a job, a test, an exam, a promotion etc. I really like the way it turned out, hope you like it too.

Magnolia and swirls

This week on Tilda&Co challenge the theme is swirls.
I have altered a notebook for this as I had a stamp with a verse that I thought would be great for this. The verse is from aud stamps, swirls autumn grey and the tilda with pencil of course is magnolia.
I used versa mark to stamp the swirls. Tilda is coloured with copics and applied to the notebook (woolies 99p). Then I covered the front page with book cover to protect everything.

tilda & co #14

The challenge this week is "All stiched up" on the Tilda&co challenge blog. It can be machine, hand or faux as long as it is a main feature.
The pregnant tilda stamp is so sweet and thought I would go for an earth mother kind of colour scheme. Hope you like it.

Changing tilda

This weeks challenge on Tilda & co was to take 2 magnolia stamps and make them into one. I really love the tilda in bunny suit, I decided to use that as my morphine subject. I took the roses of one of the tildas and put them in the hands of bunny Tilda. Let me know if you like the result??

F is for flowers and fishing.

It was a sketch challenge this week on Tilda & Co. I was determined to make a male card this week and when I saw it had a flower on it I thought oh there goes that idea.
Then I thought again about all the men that I know that fish and garden and thought if the colours are masculine why can't they have flowers on their cards too. This is my offering I hope you like it.
Check out the Tilda & co challenge ( here ) as they are giving away the church stamp to the winner and I am so envious as I don't have that one yet. Check out the shop they have 20% of magnolias but there aren't many left.
