Friday sketchers #50

An end to another week and not much achieved. I finished this card last night and had to wait for the light to take the pic.
I have used a Hanglar and Stanglar stamp to create this card. I have followed the sketch by Beatrix from Germany for the Friday-sketchers.
The challenge over at A-spoon-full-of-sugar is a colour challenge. They would like to see a green and blue theme. I made the head pin that I have used with a bead and a green real pearl.

Recipe for the card:
Stamp: Hanglar and Stanglar
Sentiment: Studio g
Paper: K&co Awning
Prima: Flower
Head pin by me
Coloured with copic pens.

Hey chick!!

Wow, I don't know where the time goes. Well a little bit of an exaggeration there as things are still a bit hectic with us and as ever its the down time that suffers, anyway I have managed to get around to playing with somethings that I got at the SECC Hobbycraft show in Glasgow.
I have coloured this image with some inks from imagination-crafts. They are similar to the distress inks but can be used the same as the Alcohol inks also. They have 12 colours and they are all inter blendable to make lots of colours. I have coloured the small flowers with the inks also.
The other thing is that they have neat mica powders that you can add to your inks while in the bottle, paint with them on their own or dust over projects like I have here. I stamped the swirls with black ink and then highlighted areas with my versamark pen and then dusted with the mica powders to make them more of an antique gold.
I am joining in with the guys on friday-sketchers Mumur has made a wonderful sketch for us to follow.
The beads on the flower are real fresh water pearls and they add abit of bling to the card. I have 3d glazed the sentiment to make it stand out abit more, apperantly a trade mark of mine as some of my friends have said.

Materials used:

Stamp from Sarah Kay.

Stamped swirls Autumn leaves.

Papers are from K&co and some of my personal favourites.

Flowers by Prima coloured with imagination inks.

3 cards 1 sketch

My dear other half has decided that I have to make 3 cards at the same time, so here we go. I have followed the sketch from friday-sketchers challenge blog.
I have stamped the little hanglar girl from the valentine collection she's so cute. The ribbon on this first one moved and I am so tired I didn't take another pic sorry. Thats me being lazy. The butterfly are accents on the paper that I used to make some detail. The papers I have used are from K&co hydrangea pad. The pictures are not very good. The round stamps are from aud stamps
Gone for a colour combo of lavender, green and warm yellows. This is the inside of one of the cards. The paper did all the work I just layered it on some lavender card.I tried to make them different from each other while using the same paper and image.
Materials:
Paper: K&co hydrangea stripe pad
Stamp: Hanglar and stanglar valentine release
Prima flowers
Coloured with copic pens.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by x x x

just for you

I have followed the sketch over on friday-sketchers to make this card.
I used an image sent to me by a very special friend as I haven't got any Sarah Kay stamps. What a cute stamp this is, I haven't seen it before and it was great to colour. I coloured the image with copic pens. The papers are from K&co, I have added a wash of vintage photo destress ink to make the colours coordinate better. I wish I had used a brown in to place the swirl now but never mind.
On the inside of the card I used the same stamp as the front and versamarked some plain paper. I then used my chalks to colour the paper to match the colour theme.
Materials used
Stamps
Sarah Kay image
Aud stamps for swirls
K&co sentiment
Papers
K & co from a dsigner box
Flowers Papercellar coloured with vintage photo destress ink and then spritzed with Glitz spray an idea I got from the very talented MAYA

baby its cold outside

What a week it has been snow, wind and rain. The snow part was really nice and I will try and post about that later.
I have made a card following the sketch on friday-sketchers blog, which is by carole this week. What a fab sketch it is too.
I have used the background stamp from magnolia and glittered it all over. I added raised details to the tree and then glittered them again.
I coloured the image with my copic pens and then I put the image through my xyron to make it sticky and glittered with glamour dust.
I used another of the new magnolia Tilda stamps and coloured her to match. The papers have a pearlescent finish which is hard to show up and the blue background paper is by K&co and has glitter on too. So it is a very glittery affair but I really like the finish.
Thank you for look and I hope you like it too x
Stamps: Magnolia
Papers: K&co
Colouring: copic pens

You light up my life

I really love this cute Tilda image and have used her to make a gift wallet for that special someone that always goes that little bit further to help out in life.
I have followed the sketch on Friday-sketchers, this is created by Beatrix. Beatrix makes some lovely cards and you should pop by her blog and check them out.
I started looking for papers and picked out the red background paper and then there where a couple of others and I couldn't choose between them so have used them all together with chocolate card.
I had some letters that I bought that where grey and I really wanted to use them for this card. I triple embossed them with moonglow embossing powders and then embossed a pattern on them to make them blend in with my card. The moonglow powder is Holly Berry and is red with a gold twist.
The flower I used was white and I coloured it with Distress Inks. The charms hanging of are freshwater pearls and I twisted the wire holding the made with love heart to make it more interesting.
The image is coloured with prisma pencils and copic pens.
Stamp: Magnolia christmas stamp.
Papers: K&co
