sending a cup of smiles

Here's another one from me. This one is for the spoon-full-of-sugar challenge blog. They would like to see some doodles on your card this week. I have used 3d paints to doodle in some swirls and added detail around the circle. I am also joining in with the Basic-grey blog where they would like you to mix it up this week.
I have used the Sugared papers and the brads are from the Sultry collection. The image is from The-greeting-farm, coloured with copic pens. More doodles on the inside and a prima flower to finish of in the corner.
Materials used
Papers: Basic grey Sugared
Stamp: The greeting farm Cup of stuff
Prima flowers Woodland mix
Basic grey Sultry brads
Thanks for stopping by I hope you like it.

You're sweet

What a weekend. The DH and youngest DD where away and I managed to get my DD's newbedroom painted and all her furniture into her new bedroom before they got back. Not bad for 24hrs I had some help from my other daughter and probably wouldn't have got it finished without her help. Still alot of stuff to sort out but we are getting there.
Anyway I have managed to get some crafting time and have joined the High-hopes challenge blog. This week they have a sketch to share with us and if that isn't enough they are having a guest designer team call. What an opportunity, to join this fun, funky, creative team for a few months. I for one would love to be part of the team.
You have to use the sketch and send some details to them and what a difficult task they will have to get down to 2 people. So here is the piece I have made using the sketch for the front of the card/gift.
I have made this using the basic grey twoscoops papers. I scored the card to allow area for the chocolate inside the card. The image I used is Bethany Angel isn't she cute. On the second leaf I added the element sticker 'Cherish' sentiment from the twoscoops pack and used my punches to add some detail. On the inside I have made a poem, I hope that you can read it. On the left leaf I have used an opaque pearl foil and sticky stuff to create a swirl. I used the nestibilities to cut the shape. The middle has love and kisses these are chocolates. The "Love" element is a sticker again from the twoscoops pack, I have coloured it with Fired brick distressing ink to make the colour deeper. On the right leaf is the rest of the poem and another sticker from the pack. The flowers I have used are from Prima and I just love these flowers. I coloured the foil on the chocolates using the distress alchol inks to make them blend better with my work.
I hope this is not to OTT as it is for my eldest daughter who left home earlier this year. I always give my kids something for valentines and as much as things are strained between us, I want her to know that we love her.
Materials used:
Stamp: High hopes Bethany angel
Papers: Two scoops
Nestibilities for shapes
Prima flowers
Martha stewart punches

My heart and chocolate!!

Took awhile to bring this one together but I think I got there in the end.
I have used Tilda holding the heart and sat her on the box of chocolates from Alota rubber. These are coloured with copic pens. I used my nestibilities to make some layers for the background.
I would say I am so lucky to get my hands on these Martha Stewart punches but I paid the earth for them and now I am so glad as they are great. I have put some red paper behind the little hearts to pick them out better and blend with the card better.
On the inside I have used the nestibilities to make some layers and the sentiment is printed of my computer. I used the stamps from the two scoops to add abit more detail, I stamped them with versamark and then chalked them.
I am joining the Basic-grey challenge blog with this card. They have a recipe to follow. Ingredients: 2 Patterned papers, 1 Button, 1 Ribbon and Bow and 3 Brads.
I have followed the great sketch from Sketch-saturday blog and joining the Spoon-full-of-sugar challenge which is "Love is in the air".

Magnolia stamp: tilda with heart
Alota rubber stamp: chocolate box
Basicgrey paper:Two scoops
Basicgrey stamps: Two scoops for inside

Do you believe....

I have made this card using the unicorn from the-greeting-farm . It is only $3 and is an automatic digital download. I have played with it alittle to make this image and hope that I do not get into trouble for doing so as it only has the 1 unicorn on the download.
Do you believe.... It could be alot of things for me its "in love at first sight" the one that I like the most.
I am also taking part in the papertake-weekly challenge which is 3 shapes on your card.
I kept the iside plain just using patterned paper and a circle chalked with pink to match the card ready for the rest of the sentiment. Sorry about the pictures they aren't the greatest.
Materials used.
The greeting farm Unicorn download
Papers Basic grey Blush
Roses are from my friend Maya
Coloured with copic pens.
