OK so here we go I was dreading what it would come up with as I have a lot of photos on my external drive.
Luckily we have a nice photo of happy memories and happy times.

This picture is from my holiday to Disney world in Oct 2007 with the my 3 daughters. We stayed at the Disney Caribbean beach hotel for 3wks and this is part of the pool. I bought an Olympus waterproof camera to take with me and it was great, we got some awesome photos in the water and underwater.

This is Shanna my eldest boosting Kayleigh out of the water. We had such a great time on this holiday as you can see we got a good tan.

My heart and chocolate!!

Took awhile to bring this one together but I think I got there in the end.
I have used Tilda holding the heart and sat her on the box of chocolates from Alota rubber. These are coloured with copic pens. I used my nestibilities to make some layers for the background.
I would say I am so lucky to get my hands on these Martha Stewart punches but I paid the earth for them and now I am so glad as they are great. I have put some red paper behind the little hearts to pick them out better and blend with the card better.
On the inside I have used the nestibilities to make some layers and the sentiment is printed of my computer. I used the stamps from the two scoops to add abit more detail, I stamped them with versamark and then chalked them.
I am joining the Basic-grey challenge blog with this card. They have a recipe to follow. Ingredients: 2 Patterned papers, 1 Button, 1 Ribbon and Bow and 3 Brads.
I have followed the great sketch from Sketch-saturday blog and joining the Spoon-full-of-sugar challenge which is "Love is in the air".

Magnolia stamp: tilda with heart
Alota rubber stamp: chocolate box
Basicgrey paper:Two scoops
Basicgrey stamps: Two scoops for inside
Coloured with copic pens

Worlds best goose guide!

I have made this card for a friend of ours that takes my other half out shooting. I am using it for a couple fo the blog challenges. Over on High-hope-stamps challenge blog they would like you to make a mans card no flowers allowed and on Cute-card-thursday they would like you to create a scene. I started with a concertina card and made the background with a magnolia stamp but didn't stamp the heart that is on it. I chalked the sky and the hills in. The High hope stamp Hunter rick is so cute and I have made a card with a similar theme before. The goose is a clipart that I have coloured in. Photos are not that great still trying to work on lighting.
The title is made with my around the block press.
Materials used:
High Hopes Hunter Rick
Magnolia Tree
Around the block Tape press and tape
Coloured in with copic pens.
Background created with chalks
Thank you for looking and hope it doesn't offend anyone.

I have made this card using the unicorn from the-greeting-farm . It is only $3 and is an automatic digital download. I have played with it alittle to make this image and hope that I do not get into trouble for doing so as it only has the 1 unicorn on the download.
Do you believe.... It could be alot of things for me its "in love at first sight" the one that I like the most.
I am also taking part in the papertake-weekly challenge which is 3 shapes on your card.
I kept the iside plain just using patterned paper and a circle chalked with pink to match the card ready for the rest of the sentiment. Sorry about the pictures they aren't the greatest.

celebrate the everyday

I'm totally behind on myself I have had this card made for the last 3 days and just didn't get time to post it. I wanted to use to take part in a couple of challenges and am still going to even though they have passed.
I followed the sketch on Sketch-saturday which was alot of fun.
The challenge on spoon-full-of-sugar was paper piecing. The trousers and the top are paper pieced and then coloured abit to give depth.
The challenge on the Whiff-of-joy blog is to use purple and greens. I cheated alittle and used my distressing inks to make papers the colour that I needed.

The inside of the card is stamped with see d's stamp and then chalked so it doesn't look stark.
Materials used.
Whiff of Joy stamp and sentiment
Inside See d's Bella flora
Brenda walton paper
Bo bunny paper
k &co paper
Most of the papers have been coloured with distress inks

just for you

I have followed the sketch over on friday-sketchers to make this card.
I used an image sent to me by a very special friend as I haven't got any Sarah Kay stamps. What a cute stamp this is, I haven't seen it before and it was great to colour. I coloured the image with copic pens. The papers are from K&co, I have added a wash of vintage photo destress ink to make the colours coordinate better. I wish I had used a brown in to place the swirl now but never mind.
On the inside of the card I used the same stamp as the front and versamarked some plain paper. I then used my chalks to colour the paper to match the colour theme.
Materials used
Stamps
Sarah Kay image
Aud stamps for swirls
K&co sentiment
Papers
K & co from a dsigner box
Flowers Papercellar coloured with vintage photo destress ink and then spritzed with Glitz spray an idea I got from the very talented MAYA

Magical birthday

Well what a week. I was at the hospital with my other half on friday who is alot better now and then on Sunday night it was my turn, playing netball and took a bad landing and totally sprained my ankle. I can't walk properly or drive. Enough of that and on with the cards.
I have made this card for 2 challenges. The image is from high-hope-stamps and their challenge this week is dry embossing. I have used my dots folder by cuttlebug. I used my gold ink pad to highlight them to go with the colour theme of the card.
I did say I used this card for 2 challenges, the other challenge is papertake-weekly challenge and this is the sketch that Dawn has created for us to follow this week. I have gone for a plainish card for me but I think it worked out ok in the end and is not to boring. I hope you will agree.
On the inside of the card I used chalks and wet chalks to make a paper to I feel works well with the front image.
Materials used:
Stamps:
High hopes: Henry the great
Playing card emblems from The greeting farm Alice in wonderland set.
Greetings stamps: I have had for years and cannot remember who maks them.
Colouring: Copic pens
Swiss dots cuttlebug folder
thank you so much for dropping by and taking a look.

Sugared up birthday

I made this card for my sister in law that lives in America. I joined in with the sketch on the Sugar-bowl-blog. The sketch is by Tiets and was really great to play with. I think my card is very eclectic. The papers where very busy and needed the embellishments to bind it all together or at least that's my excuse lol. As it is the first challenge on the sugar bowl blog I thought I would use my Sugar dumpling papers by blonde moments. The whole card has a pink, lilac and heart theme going on (just incase it wasn't obvious :o)
The theme is carried on inside of the card, I hope to do more inside decorating on my cards, something I have wanted to do for awhile.
Materials used:
Stamps : Sugar nellies penpal
Papers : Blonde moments Sugar Dumplings
Flowers : Prima flowers with seed beads added
