You did it!

The challenge on Tilda-and-co is embossed. It can be any kind of embossing. I have opted to use a ebossing folder to make a quick and easy background.
I have used Edwin holding the glasses as he is celebrating, what I hear you say, well just about anything, could be a job, a test, an exam, a promotion etc. I really like the way it turned out, hope you like it too.

Traditional Christmas

I have made this card using a Whiff-of-joy stamp. She is so cute dressing the tree. I love the colours of christmas and thought I would go with a totally tradtional colour scheme.

I have used the stampin up punch for the sentiment.

How lucky am I

I received a very special bag from a very special person you know who you are. She has been kind enough to help me source some very much prized Hanglars and stanglars stamps. To top it all though she has made the most adoreable bag for them and managed to get me a very hard to get hold of wedding couple. Also enclosed in the bag where so many images i am truely indebted thank you.
The detail and work that has been put into the bag is truely amazing. I hope to make you proud with my creations.

sweet 16

I have been away for while and trying to get back into the swing of things.
I thought I would join in with the spoon-full-of-sugar challenge. This week it is a sketch and I really enjoyed taking part in this challenge. I have put a message behind the image but as this is for my daughters 16, yes 16th birthday it is for her eyes only. I can't believe how time has gone by I still see the little bundle from the first day she was born when I look at her. Hope you like it.
Stamp is from Funky kits Sweet n sassy.
Papers from K & Co
Coloured with copics pens.

Inside is created with a combination of stamps from autumn leaves and the fairy is from Dovecraft.

Amazing blog candy give away

You have to visit Katharinas blog spot. She has an amazing blog full of inspiration.
She is celebrating her 100,000 (if only lol). The candy is going to blow your socks off, not just because you have a chance of winning some stamps but they are her own range of Whiff-of-joy. There is a set of 4 to be won called guardian angels and she has a sneak preview of 2 of them on her blog.
I can honestly say that these stamps are so cute. The designer is Elisabeth Bell who is taking the stamping world like a storm.
All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning the stamps is subscribe to her blog (which I do and its great, keeps you up to date with all the new yummy creations). Leave a comment on your blog and then let her know that you would like to be entered. How easy is that, got to be worth a blast.

Skater chick

Had to put a quick card together for my daughters friend as she had turned 16. The first thing that struck me was her name and thought I would use that as a feature of the card. I have used the skater girl from the papilio stamp range and she is just so funky and idea for girls with a bit of va-vavoom about them. Hope you like it.

The letters are Tim Holtz painted with acrylic paint and then altered with alcohol inks.

The papers are twist and shout.

Stamp is papilio (isn't she the cutest) coloured with Copics.

Stars are altered to match with Tim Holtz alcohol inks.

As a little something to add to her birthday presents I personalised a lava lamp keyring. I have altered it with the matching alcoholic inks that i used on the card and made a name plague with shrink plastic with her name on.

I've been away and missed so much.

I have been away for awhile and am away again at the weekend. There has been a lot on the go while I was away and just want to mention some of the amazing news which a few of you will definitely be aware off.

Marlene has had a feature in the Craft Stamper which I haven't bought for awhile but went out and bought special as she was featured in it. Go over to her blog and check out her great work and well done on the 4 page spread. Look forward to checking out the article in next months.

Nikki has been ultra busy too. Check out her blog. She has awesome news and must have been busting at the seams to share it but she is now officially one of the High-hopes design team members. How cool is that!!!!! Go girl!!!! and if it wasn't enough reason to go and buy next months craft stamper because Marlene is in it, Nikki has got a feature in it too. So if ever there was a magazine to buy, that's the one.

Maya, Maya, Maya, what can I say such good news. Check out her blog and especially the roses she makes from coffee filters. She has finally been recognised for the stunning work that she produces. She is a design team member for inky wings.

As you can probably tell I really admire the work produced by these ladies and just want to say well done to all of them and love all your latest work. x x x
